Volunteering in our communities is so important for a
stable, healthy community. Here are some ways that you can assist your
community while experiencing new things and meeting new people.
Retired & Senior Volunteer Program: The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program, RSVP, provides older Americans the opportunity to apply their life experience to meeting community needs.
Foster Grandparent Program: Foster Grandparents participate in and are supported by pre-service orientation and in-training workshops throughout their service at their
volunteering sites, and through the Foster Grandparent Program.
State Health Insurance Program (SHIP): A program designed to help older Montanans get the answers to important questions they have concerning Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance.
Advocates in Medicare Savings (AIMS): Advocates In Medicare Savings (AIM$) Statewide, peer volunteers give public presentations or provide one to one assistance to educate Medicare consumers in the areas of waste, fraud and abuse. |
