COVID-19 Vaccines for People with Medicare
- What does it cost? You pay nothing for the vaccine!
- Where do I get it? COVID-19 vaccines are available at pharmacies, clinics, doctors’ offices, hospitals, or even in the home. Find a vaccine near you at www.vaccines.gov.
- What do I bring? Bring your red, white, and blue Medicare card to your appointment, even if you have a Medicare Advantage Plan. Otherwise, you may be asked for your Social Security number to verify you’re on Medicare.
- I’m already vaccinated. Do I need a booster? If you are age 65 and older or have certain health risks, a booster may be recommended. Speak with your doctor to learn more.
Undecided? Older adults are highly at risk from COVID-19. Over 80% of Americans 65 and older are vaccinated, but it could be lower where you live. Learn more about the vaccine at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus.
