Haven’t received your stimulus payment?
To find out the status of your “Economic Impact Payment” (EIP) use the IRS “Get My Payment” tool at https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment.
• Did you lose your stimulus debit card? If a card was sent to you, but it was thrown away or lost, call 800-240-8100 for a free replacement card. When you call, instead of pressing 1 to reach customer service, press 2 for a lost/stolen card. Follow the prompts and you will be connected with a customer service representative.
• Have you been notified that your payment has been deposited even though no money was added to your account? If you have been notified of a payment that you didn’t receive, or if you receive an EIP Notice 1444 in the mail, call 800-919-9835 or submit IRS Form 3911. Callers should be aware that automated phone options and long wait times are likely.
• Didn’t file a federal tax return for 2018 or 2019? Go to irs.gov and use the “Non-Filer Tool” to give your information to the IRS and receive your payment.
• Do you receive benefits? If you receive Social Security retirement, survivor or disability, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Railroad Retirement benefits or Veterans Affairs benefits, you are entitled to a stimulus payment.
• What if none of these situations apply, but you still haven’t received your payment? Your payment may still be on the way, as payments are scheduled to be made until Dec. 31st, 2020. If you don’t receive your payment by then, you will still have a chance to claim your payment when you file your 2020 federal tax return.
