Au Jus Mix (make your own save money)
12 beef bouillon cubes (or 4 tbsp. beef bouillon granules)
4 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. parsley
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
4 tbsp. cornstarch
Place all of the above ingredients in a blender or food processor. Process until the mixture turns into a fine powder. Store mix in an airtight jar or Ziploc bag.
To prepare the au jus, mix 41/2 tsp. of the au jus mix with 2 cups water and heat in a medium sauce pan for about 15 minutes until heated and slightly thickened. Serve
Note: 41/2 tsp. is equal to one McCormick French dip au jus packet that you would buy at grocery store. Leftovers will also keep in the refrigerator for up to a week, as well leftovers can be put in freezer in inexpensive freezer containers.
